XML
We believe XML based development represents the current best paradigm for corporate application development. The advantages of XMl are numerous and are detailed elsewhere on this site. Our methodology makes extensive use of XML in both Design and Implementation of applications.
The XMl format can be, as is, used universally across programming languages and platforms. The format is naturally a chooice for cross platform data exchange.
- XML is also useful for
- temporary data storage
- caching data format
- Data transmission format (within and between applications) for Cross platform and Cross Network communications
- storing application preferences and configurations
- Facilitates modular design and development
- Facilitates application specification in a data driven fashion
- many more applications, well described elsewhere
